eBay è il sito di e-commerce che conoscete tutti… vediamone i pro ed i contro per chi vuole iniziare ad usarlo…

PRO

  • eBay è il sito più popolare in fatto di e-commerce quindi si possono trovare più oggetti o più acquirenti.  Possiede una grafica semplice e intuitiva, inoltre gli oggetti sono divisi in diverse  categorie, il che rende facile trovare un prodotto.
  • La facilità di alcune azioni; l’acquirente è più disposto a comprare se ha delle garanzie in fatto di spedizione e pagamento. Ciò su eBay risulta certamente affidabile, sia per il servizio PAYPAL, un servizio che si appoggia alla carta di credito ma totalmente sicuro, sia sulle spedizioni tramite servizi di spedizioni internazionali e molto affidabili, non lo sono purtroppo le poste italiane che alcune volte fanno degli scherzi.

Ovviamente non tutti i venditori assicurano la spedizione o usano metodi di pagamento semplici e sicuri.

CONTRO

  • Logicamente, dove si guadagnano soldi ci sono anche i soliti truffatori. Questi utenti usano di solito identità  false, da accostare alla propria carta di credito o carta prepagata (Poste Pay). Pubblicano inserzioni con prezzi vantaggiosissimi rubando le foto e informazioni da altri utenti veri, spacciando un prodotto altrui per proprio.
  • Parecchi venditori di eBay molto furbi, vendono un prodotto che spacciano per nuovo o non danneggiato, e i poveri acquirenti si ritrovano in mano un oggetto non funzionante o con evidenti danneggiamenti. L’acquirente , nel caso non sia possibile contattare il venditore per un rimborso,  può mandare una mail a eBay e segnalare l’utente non affidabile.
  • I Feedback sono fondamentali per conoscere l’esperienza e l’affidabilità di un venditore, essi sono dei messaggi che i compratori rilasciano all’acquisto di un oggetto; questi feedback possono essere negativi, neutri o positivi a seconda del comportamento del compratore o del venditore. Molti utenti che si affacciano per la prima volta su eBay hanno perciò difficoltà sia nel vendere che nell’acquistare.

In conclusione, a mio parere eBay è un sito molto affidabile e raccomandabile, ma bisogna tenere sempre gli occhi aperti e stare svegli perché le truffe o le fregature sono sempre dietro l’angolo soprattutto quelle del XXI secolo che si sono spostate anche sul Web.
